Emergency Care Consultants (ECC) is an independent physician-owned emergency medicine practice that manages ten emergency departments in the Twin Cities and Western Wisconsin. The group is comprised of 100+ highly engaged Physicians and 60+ Advanced Practice Providers (APPs) with a strong sense of pride and ownership in the practice they have built. Engagement, teamwork, collaboration, and high-quality patient care are the values the group lives by and upholds. Position Summary ECC Physician Assistants and Nurse Practitioners are integral members of the Emergency Department team. APPs work in collaboration of the supervising physician to evaluate and treat a diverse patient population across multiple clinical settings. This flexibility allows our APPs to create and shape a practice that reflects their experience, personal interests, and professional goals. This position is located in the Twin Cities. The shifts will be a mixture of 8.5-hour day/evening/overnight shifts both weekdays and weekends. This position is for new grads or those with less than three years of experience. Required Qualifications Completion of an accredited physician assistant or nursing practitioner program Current licensure with the Minnesota Board of Medical Practice or Minnesota Board of Nursing Comfort with emergency and urgent care procedures (e.g., suturing, wound care, fracture care, etc.).
PALS, ACLS, ATLS
(required prior to start date) Responsibilities Provide excellent patient care for both children and adults for unscheduled, low acuity visits Evaluate, treat and discharge patients efficiently while maintaining high patient satisfaction Ensure a safe and healthy working environment; abide by state laws and regulations Complete all clinical documentation in a timely manner Compensation ECC's salary range for this full-time position is $70,750 - $162,500 annually. Full-time positions are available (ranging between 1105 - 1872 hours annually).
