Wound, Burn and Ostomy Nurse Practitioner. Job in Minneapolis Gr8Jobs

13 weeks 4x8s (Mon, Tues, Thurs, Fri 7:30a 4p)

Outpatient Clinic No Call Highlights:

• Outpatient Wound Care Clinic within a top-tier acute care hospital
• Full-time schedule (.8 FTE) consistent patient load
• Appointments every 20 minutes, up to 20 patients/day
• Support staff includes MDs and specialty wound care team

EMR:

Epic

• Emergency credentialing available for clean files
• Potential to extend long-term

Clinical Scope:

• Perform comprehensive wound assessments and treatment planning
• Conduct sharp debridement, biopsies, and biologic skin graft applications
• Apply total contact casts (TCCs) and manage advanced wound care therapies
• Care for all age groups neonates through geriatrics
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for optimal healing outcomes

Requirements:

• Board Certified Nurse Practitioner
• Active Minnesota License (required)
• Wound Care experience (certification preferred)
• Epic experience preferred
• COVID vaccine not required
• Clean background for expedited privileges
