Our flagship program offers intensive, highly personalized residential mental health treatment in small, home-like environments. With a 6-8 client ratio per home, we provide 24/7 support from a multidisciplinary clinical team, incorporating traditional therapy, experiential modalities (art, music, equine), and a deep focus on each clients lived experience.Mission Connection:
A flexible, hybrid program designed to meet clients where they areboth literally and clinically. This outpatient service combines in-person and telehealth care for adults with primary mental health diagnoses such as anxiety, depression, and mood disorders. Mission Connection ensures consistent, personalized support that fits into the clients real life.Mission Prep:
A dedicated adolescent program that works with teens and their families to create sustainable change. Focused on treating primary mental health challenges, Mission Prep offers a blend of proven therapies and innovative interventions in a supportive, home-like setting. Position OverviewAMFM Healthcare is seeking a compassionate and experienced Nurse Practitioner to join our interdisciplinary team for our A Mission for Michael residential adult program. This role is essential in providing high-quality psychiatric care to adults in our residential treatment program. The Nurse Practitioner will assess, diagnose, and treat clients in collaboration with psychiatrists, therapists, and support staff.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in psychiatric care, excellent interpersonal skills, and a deep commitment to patient-centered treatment.
Key ResponsibilitiesConduct initial psychiatric evaluations and ongoing assessments in personCollaborate with the Chief Medical Officer and clinical leadership to deliver effective treatmentDevelop and manage individualized psychiatric treatment plansPrescribe and monitor medications, adjusting as neededOrder and interpret diagnostic tests and lab resultsMaintain accurate documentation in Electronic Health RecordsCoordinate care with nursing, clinical, administrative, and billing teamsSupport pre-assessment and approval processes for incoming clientsParticipate in quality assurance, program development, and trainingPerform other medical and psychiatric duties as assigned
QualificationsRequired:
Must be 21 years of age or olderActive and current Nurse Practitioner License or Physician License in the State of MinnesotaWe will consider MD's too!Masters Degree in the fieldAbility to pass federal and state background checks, including NETStudy2.0 and other screenings required by the company
Preferred:
Minimum of 2 years of experience in a psychiatric or behavioral health settingBenefits for full time employees:Medical, Dental, and Vision plans through Anthem or Kaiser.
