12 Job Requirements Minimum 1 year of clinical experience as an NP or PA-C in urgent care, emergency medicine, or primary care settings Active Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license in Missouri (NP or PA-C license required) Comfort providing care across the lifespan—pediatrics to geriatrics Proficient with common urgent care procedures and onsite X-ray services (ability to order and interpret imaging) Strong communication, patient-centered care, and teamwork skills Current BLS required; ACLS or PALS preferred where applicable Responsibilities Provide primary and urgent care evaluations, diagnosis, and treatment for patients of all ages Perform focused physical exams and manage acute illnesses, minor injuries, suture/foreign body removal, and wound care Order, obtain, and interpret diagnostic tests, including onsite X-rays and labs, collaborating with onsite radiology staff as needed Prescribe medications and develop appropriate treatment plans within scope of practice Document patient encounters accurately and efficiently in the electronic health record Coordinate care with clinic staff and referring providers to ensure high-quality outcomes Why Join This Team Competitive weekly pay for locum tenens urgent care work Weekend-only schedule that supports work-life balance Work in a welcoming community known for entertainment and outdoor recreation (Branson, MO) to be considered for this locum tenens urgent care position in Branson, Missouri.
