Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant Festus, MO 63028 $58,298.32 - $125,000.00 a year - Part-time, Full-time $58,298.32 - $125,000.00 a year - Part-time, Full-time Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our dynamic healthcare team. In this vital role, you will provide comprehensive patient care across a variety of settings, including outpatient clinics and specialized care environments. Your expertise will help deliver high-quality, compassionate medical services while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to enhance patient outcomes. Duties Conduct thorough physical examinations and patient assessments, including vital signs, history taking, and clinical evaluations. Manage acute and chronic conditions with a focus on internal medicine and geriatrics. Perform procedures such as suturing, foot care and wound care Utilize EMR (Electronic Medical Record) systems like eClinicalWorks for accurate documentation of patient encounters and medical records. Coordinate diagnostic evaluations using sonography, laboratory testing, medical imaging, and specimen collection/processing. Provide telehealth consultations and participate in case management to ensure seamless patient care continuity across various settings such as assisted living, nursing homes, or home care environments. Maintain compliance with HIPAA regulations and infection control protocols while delivering safe patient care in inpatient or outpatient settings. Experience Experience working with diverse populations including geriatrics, individuals with developmental disabilities or dementia care needs. Skilled in managing complex cases in internal medicine Proficiency with EMR/EHR systems such as EClinical works. Strong knowledge of physiology and anatomy for accurate diagnosis and treatment planning; experience in medical-surgical units or outpatient clinics is advantageous.
