Job Description
Scotland County Hospital is a small Critical Access Hospital located in rural northeastern Missouri, in the city of Memphis. We own and operate five rural health clinics in four counties - Memphis Medical Services (Scotland County), Lancaster Medical Services (Schuyler County), Edina Medical Services (Knox County) and Wyaconda & Kahoka Medical Services (Clark County). We are seeking a dedicated Family Nurse Practitioner to provide comprehensive primary care to our rural community clinic. In this role you will diagnose, treat, and manage acute and chronic illnesses while collaborating closely with a supportive supervising physician. You will be responsible for conducting physical exams, diagnose health issues, and create personalized treatment plans. Manage chronic conditions and acute episodic care. Provide patient education, preventative care, and wellness counseling. Maintain accurate, timely medical records using our electronic health records system The position is full time and will perform as a team member of the Rural Health Clinics under the general direction of the RHC Medical Director. Successful completion of an approved Nurse Practitioner program. Current approval by the joint Board of Medical Examiners and Board of Nursing to perform medical acts. Current licensed in
