6 + months, with potential for extension
Pay Range:
$70 to $72/hr
Location:
Kansas City MO - Coverage in Jackson County area
Schedule:
Mon-Fri 8 am to 5 pm Responsibilities of the
Nurse Practitioner:
  • Conductprehensive assessments
  • Effectively manage acute and chronic medical and behavioral conditions
  • Ensure accurate andplete documentation, including ICD 10 conditions
  • Communicate and collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team
  • Conduct advanced illness and advanced care planning conversations
  • Provide patients and caregivers with counseling and education Qualifications & Requirements Active and unrestricted license in the state of residence, or the ability to obtain licensure prior to the start date
Education Requirements:
Nurse Practitioner (NP): Graduate of an accredited Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) program Physician Assistant (PA): Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program
Certification Requirements:
Nurse Practitioner (NP): Active board certification through the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners (AANP) or the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) in one of the following specialties: Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) Adult Nurse Practitioner (ANP) Gerontology Nurse Practitioner (GNP) Adult-Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (AGACNP) Physician Assistant (PA): Active board certification through the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA)
Additional Requirements:
Current, active DEA license and prescriptive authority Ability to obtain a Collaborative Practice Agreement, if required by state regulations Ability to meet the physical demands of the role, including: Lifting and transporting a 30-pound bag in and out of a vehicle Navigating stairs and varying residential environments Sitting, standing, and kneeling to perform physical assessments Access to reliable transportation Full

Pay Details:
