Job Description

Adecco Healthcare & Life Sciences is looking for a
  • Nurse Practitioner
  • for our client in
  • Kansas City MO
  • !
    • Type:
    • 6 + months, with potential for extension
    • Pay Range:
    • $70 to $72/hr
    • Location:
    • Kansas City MO - Coverage in Jackson County area
    • Schedule:
    • Mon-Fri 8 am to 5 pm
    • Responsibilities of the
    Nurse Practitioner:
    • Conduct comprehensive assessments
    • Effectively manage acute and chronic medical and behavioral conditions
    • Ensure accurate and complete documentation, including ICD 10 conditions
    • Communicate and collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team
    • Conduct advanced illness and advanced care planning conversations
    • Provide patients and caregivers with counseling and education
    • Qualifications & Requirements
    • + Active and unrestricted license in the state of residence, or the ability to obtain licensure prior to the start date
    • Education Requirements:
    • Nurse Practitioner (NP):
    • + Graduate of an accredited
    • Master of Science in Nursing (MSN)
    • or •Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)•program •Physician Assistant (PA):•+ Graduate of an accredited •Physician Assistant•program •
    Certification Requirements:
    • Nurse Practitioner (NP):
    • + Active board certification through the
    • American Academy of Nurse Practitioners (AANP)
    • or the
    • American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC)
    • in one of the following specialties: + Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) + Adult Nurse Practitioner (ANP) + Gerontology Nurse Practitioner (GNP) + Adult-Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (AGACNP)
    • Physician Assistant (PA):
    • + Active board certification through the
    • National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA)
    • Additional Requirements:
    • + Current, active
    • DEA license
    • and prescriptive authority + Ability to obtain a
    • Collaborative Practice Agreement
    • , if required by state regulations + Ability to meet the physical demands of the role, including: + Lifting and transporting a 30-pound bag in and out of a vehicle + Navigating stairs and varying residential environments + Sitting, standing, and kneeling to perform physical assessments + Access to reliable transportation + Full
