This role includes providing preventative care, treating acute conditions, and supporting the unique needs of the community through occupational medicine and wellness services. What You'll Do Provide general and preventative care to help patients stay proactive about their health. Diagnose and treat acute and chronic conditions with empathy and precision. Perform wellness exams, giving patients the guidance they need to live healthier lives. Order and interpret lab and imaging tests to ensure accurate and timely diagnoses. Prescribe medications and make sure patients have clear instructions for their treatment plans. Conduct sports physicals and occupational medicine testing, including DOT and non-DOT physicals. Care for workers' compensation patients, focusing on their recovery and wellness. Design personalized treatment plans based on thorough patient evaluations. Collaborate with your team to review clinical practices and explore ways to improve patient care. Provide education and resources to empower patients and their families to manage their health confidently. Support a team-first environment by helping wherever needed to enhance the clinic's operations.
Position Details & Work Environment Type of Role:
Full-time, Non-Exempt Schedule:
Monday through Friday, 8am to 5pm
Work Environment:
Warm, friendly, and patient-focused clinic setting. Frequently lift/move objects weighing 10-20 pounds. Requires active participation beyond desk work. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically, even in busy or challenging situations. A results-driven approach to ensure the highest level of patient care. Dedication to privacy and professionalism to maintain trust and confidentiality. Impeccable organizational skills and the ability to juggle multiple priorities with ease. Qualifications to Shine Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) licensure with a specialty in Family Medicine. Clinical and/or Emergency Room experience is a plus. Ability to work independently and manage complex medical situations. DOT certification (preferred) and required for full-time Nurse Practitioners. Current CPR certification for Healthcare Providers.
