About Us:
Southern Care Anesthetics offers personalized treatment plans such as pain management, body braces, PRP injections, diagnostic ultrasound exams, steroid injections, joint injections, and more services tailored to your unique needs. We serve patients in Hattiesburg, Petal, Barrontown, Oak Grove, and surrounding areas in Mississippi.
Position Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Nurse Practitioner to join our team. This role involves evaluating patients with chronic pain, developing individualized treatment plans, and working closely with physicians and clinical staff to provide effective, evidence-based care.
Responsibilities:
Evaluate and manage patients with acute and chronic pain conditions Perform comprehensive patient assessments and follow-ups Develop and implement individualized treatment plans Prescribe medications in accordance with state regulations and clinic protocols Monitor patient progress and adjust treatments as needed Educate patients on pain management strategies and treatment options Maintain accurate, detailed medical documentation Collaborate with physicians and clinical team to ensure continuity of care
Qualifications:
Current Nurse Practitioner license in the state of Mississippi Board certification DEA license Experience in pain management preferred Strong clinical judgment and patient assessment skills Excellent communication and bedside manner Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
Preferred Experience:
Chronic pain management Medication management Procedure experience (injections, etc.) is a plus
