Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) Pontotoc, MS 38863 PRN PRN Job Overview We are seeking a PRN, dedicated and compassionate Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) to join our team in Pontotoc. The candidate will have excellent clinical, communication, and organizational skills. Urgent or primary care is not a requirement but considered a plus. Minimum of 1 year experience practicing as a FNP. Must be able to see pediatric patients. DEA number required. Competitive salary and excellent benefit package are offered. As an FNP, you will work collaboratively with physicians and other healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality patient-centered care in a supportive environment. Duties Conduct thorough patient assessments, including medical histories and physical examinations on patients of all ages, including, but not limited to, pediatrics. Manage acute and chronic illnesses, providing appropriate treatment and follow-up care. Interpret laboratory results to guide clinical decision-making. Provide education to patients and families regarding health maintenance, disease prevention, and treatment options. Maintain accurate, thorough, and timely medical records. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care. Experience Candidates should possess the following qualifications: Current certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner. Proficiency in managing patients during high volume patient load. Strong communication skills with the ability to educate patients effectively. Previous experience in a clinical setting is preferred but not mandatory.
