Full-time Job Summary:
We are seeking a licensed Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP/PNCP) to provide high-quality, integrated behavioral health services. The ideal candidate will diagnosis, treat, and manage mental health conditions while collaborating with a multidisciplinary care team in a patient-centered medical home environment.Key Responsibilities:
Provide psychiatric evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment for patients across the lifespan Prescribe and manage psychotropic medications Conduct mental health assessments and document treatment plans Monitor patient progress and medication outcomes Order and interpret laboratory tests Deliver patient and family education on mental health conditions and treatments Collaborate with primary care providers, medical director, and behavioral health team Coordinate care and provide referrals to community resources Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations Support integrated care delivery within a behavioral health and primary care setting Qualifications (Required) Graduate degree in Psychiatric Nursing Certification as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP or PNCP) Active Montana APRN license (or eligibility) Current DEA license with prescriptive authority Valid Montana driver's license Preferred Experience Minimum 2+ years of experience as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner Experience in integrated behavioral health or primary care setting Required Knowledge and Skills Strong knowledge of DSM-5 diagnostic criteria Experience with behavioral health screening tools and assessmentsUnderstanding of:
Motivational interviewing Case management principles OSHA and HIPAA compliance Immunization standards Familiarity with community mental health resources Excellent clinical documentation and reporting skills Core Competencies Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to maintain strict confidentiality Analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities Team-oriented with a collaborative mindset Work Environment and Expectations Provide care in a team-based, integrated healthcare setting Deliver services aligned with Patient-Centered Medical Home standards Flexible and willing to support evolving clinic needsSimilar jobs in Kalispell, MT
