Advanced Practice Providers are encouraged to join our Gastroenterology & Hepatology team at Atrium Health Pineville, where clinical expertise, innovation, and a commitment to exceptional patient care come together. Position Highlights
  • 100% Adult Medicine
  • Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 pm
  • No nights or weekends. No call coverage
  • ½ day administrative time built into clinic schedule
  • Combination of outpatient clinic (one week) and inpatient responsibilities (separate week)
  • Opportunity to practice within a collaborative, physician-led team model Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive hepatology care in clinic and inpatient settings
  • Conduct patient assessments, develop treatment plans, and manage follow-up care
  • Perform inpatient consults and participate in daily rounding when covering service
  • Manage average patient volume of ~12 patients/day in clinic. Practice Environment

2 Physicians, 3 APPs
    Larger Hepatology Division Network:
    • 7 Physicians

    Qualifications:
    Nurse Practitioner
    • Master's or Doctorate in Nursing Practice
    • Active RN license
    • National board certification
    • Acute Care certification required based on population served or Physician Assistant
    • Graduate of accredited PA program
    • NCCPA certification required Licensure
    • Eligible for or active North Carolina license Experience
    • Minimum 2 years clinical experience required
    • Interest or experience in hepatology preferred, but will consider those with GI, hospitalist or internal medicine experience Core Competencies

    • Ability to work autonomously
