Dermatology Nurse Practitioner / Physician Assistant -
Dunn, NC Accepting New Grads Shift Schedule:
Full-Time (Mon Fri) Position Overview We are seeking a compassionate Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to join a growing medical dermatology practice in North Carolina. The provider will diagnose and treat a variety of skin conditions and perform dermatology procedures while delivering high-quality, patient-centered care. Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive dermatologic evaluations and full-body skin exams
  • Diagnose and manage common and chronic skin conditions including acne, eczema, psoriasis, rosacea, dermatitis, fungal infections, and rashes
  • Identify and treat precancerous and cancerous lesions including AK, BCC, SCC, and melanoma within scope of practice
  • Perform dermatologic procedures such as:
  • Shave, punch, and excisional biopsies
  • Cryotherapy
  • Lesion removal
  • Wound care and post-procedure management
  • Order and interpret dermatopathology and diagnostic tests
  • Educate patients on skin health, disease prevention, and treatment expectations
  • Maintain accurate EMR documentation Requirements
  • Master s degree from an accredited NP or PA program
  • Active North Carolina NP or PA license
  • National certification (AANP/ANCC or NCCPA)
  • Minimum 1 year of dermatology experience Preferred Preferred
  • Dermatology certification (DCNP or equivalent) or willingness to obtain certification
  • Experience with biopsies, cryotherapy, and lesion removal
  • Familiarity with dermatoscopy and EMR systems
  • Interest in rural healthcare and long-term patient relationships Compensation & Benefits
