Full-Time (Mon Fri) Position Overview We are seeking a compassionate Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to join a growing medical dermatology practice in North Carolina. The provider will diagnose and treat a variety of skin conditions and perform dermatology procedures while delivering high-quality, patient-centered care. Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive dermatologic evaluations and full-body skin exams
Diagnose and manage common and chronic skin conditions including acne, eczema, psoriasis, rosacea, dermatitis, fungal infections, and rashes
Identify and treat precancerous and cancerous lesions including AK, BCC, SCC, and melanoma within scope of practice
Perform dermatologic procedures such as:
Shave, punch, and excisional biopsies
Cryotherapy
Lesion removal
Wound care and post-procedure management
Order and interpret dermatopathology and diagnostic tests
Educate patients on skin health, disease prevention, and treatment expectations
Maintain accurate EMR documentation Requirements
Master s degree from an accredited NP or PA program
Active North Carolina NP or PA license
National certification (AANP/ANCC or NCCPA)
Minimum 1 year of dermatology experience Preferred Preferred
Dermatology certification (DCNP or equivalent) or willingness to obtain certification
Experience with biopsies, cryotherapy, and lesion removal
Familiarity with dermatoscopy and EMR systems
Interest in rural healthcare and long-term patient relationships Compensation & Benefits
