Located inside of an independent pharmacy, we are family-owned and operated, and care for patients 5 years of age and older. Visits are completed for minor illness, limited medication refills, sports physicals, TB skin testing, vaccines, and weight loss services. We are seeking a Part-time/PRN Family Nurse Practitioner to join our amazing team. Hours range from Monday-Friday 9-7, Saturday 10-5 and Sunday 12-5. Weekend availability is required. •No Phone Calls or Resume Drop-offs Responsibilities for Family Nurse Practitioner Function independently, maintaining adequate work flow to evaluate and treat approximately 15-20 patients/shift Perform physical examinations of patients to evaluate health and diagnose illnesses Perform CLIA-Waived testing as needed (strep, urine dipstick) Determine treatment plan and prescribe any necessary medications Timely documentation of patient medical information and maintain electronic medical records Educate, instruct, and counsel patients and families on presenting health problems, treatment plans to include medications prescribed, and promote positive health behaviors Request consultation or referral with other health care providers, such as collaborating physician, when necessary Actively maintain knowledge of current practice guidelines, medical research and drug information Other duties as assigned Qualifications for Nurse Practitioner Graduate degree from an accredited FNP program NCBON current RN licensure Current NCBON approval to practice as Nurse Practitioner/Ability to obtain Current

AANP/ANCC

certification as Advanced Practice Nurse Current DEA registration required, or wiling to obtain Current NPI number as FNP Previous FNP experience preferred, Recent graduates considered RN experience required, within the last 3 years, if recent graduate Must be compassionate and personable with ability to communicate effectively with patients and other staff Strong leadership skills, self-confidence Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills Clear criminal background check and negative drug screen required
