Description Advanced Practice Provider Day-time Hospitalist Needed in Beautiful Western, NC UNC Health Caldwell is the choice for health care in Caldwell County. The Emergency Department sees approximately 30,000 visits a year. UNC Health Medical Group (UNCHMG) provides the majority of primary care and select specialty care to our market from thirteen separate medical park locations throughout the county. Our 137-bed licensed hospital is a member of the UNC Health System located in the foothills of the beautiful Blue Ridge mountains.

Position Details:

Work with a team of experienced and highly skilled physicians, physician assistants, and nurse practitioners Focus on teamwork, work-life balance, and flexibility Standardized documentation and extensive resources to ensure maximal efficiency and support while minimizing unnecessary and time-consuming duties 12-hour shifts, 7a-7p EMR

Licensure/Certification Requirements:

Licensed as an Advanced Practice Provider (i.e., Nurse Practitioner, Physician Assistant) in the state of North Carolina. Board certification if required by the Department. DEA.

No prior experience required.

Knowledge/Skills/and Abilities Requirements:

Demonstrated clinical competency. Effective leadership skills. Strong interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively. Demonstrated written and verbal communication and strong analytical skills. Effective interaction to ensure the successful care of patients in the clinical setting. Documentation in the medical record to substantiate accurate billing.
