Job Description
Are you a compassionate and dedicated Nurse Practitioner looking to make a meaningful impact in the field of addiction medicine? Addiction Recovery Medical Services warmly invites you to join our team! In this role, you will provide comprehensive medical care to patients struggling with substance use disorders, working closely with our multidisciplinary team to support their recovery journey. At ARMS, we take pride in fostering a friendly and supportive environment where patients feel valued and empowered. You'll have the opportunity to evaluate patients, prescribe medications including methadone, buprenorphine, and naltrexone, and collaborate on individualized patient care plans. Your expertise and empathy will be key in helping patients regain control of their lives.
Responsibilities:
Conduct thorough medical assessments and evaluations of patients. Prescribe and manage medication-assisted treatments for substance use disorders. Collaborate with counselors, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to develop and update personalized care plans. Monitor patient progress and make clinical decisions to optimize treatment outcomes. Educate patients and their families about treatment options, medication adherence, and relapse prevention. Maintain accurate and timely medical records in compliance with regulatory standards. Requirements Current Nurse Practitioner license in good standing in North Carolina. Experience in addiction medicine or substance use disorder treatment preferred. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a friendly, patient-centered approach. Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
