Job Description

An inpatient healthcare facility is seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant for a Urology assignment in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. This locum tenens role offers the opportunity to provide inpatient rounding, call coverage, and collaborative urologic care within a busy acute care setting. About the

Saturday, Sunday, Thursday, Monday, Wednesday (intermittent coverage)
Hours:
7:00 AM to 7:00
AM Setting:
Inpatient Responsibilities:
Provide inpatient urology call coverage and rounding across acute care facilities Evaluate post-operative patients, inpatient consults, and emergency department consultations Conduct medical histories, physical examinations, and treatment planning for new and established patients Order and interpret laboratory studies and imaging relevant to urologic care Assist with minor urologic procedures and coordinate care with supervising physicians and multidisciplinary teams
Qualifications:
Active North Carolina Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license Current BLS certification Minimum of 3 years of urology experience Experience working independently while collaborating with interdisciplinary peers
Desired Skills:
Experience with Epic EMR Background in inpatient and acute care urology consults Experience with perioperative urologic patient management
