Job Description

Responsibilities Assess, diagnose, and provide medical treatment in accordance with Medical Staff bylaws and privileges. Creates documentation required for each patient visit. Participates in assigned committees, including the planning and review of policies and procedures. Demonstrates tact, diplomacy, and sensitivity in communications. Is clear and accurate in communication. Responds promptly to requests, problems, and questions. Maintains confidentiality as appropriate. Interacts well with co-workers, inter and intra departments. All employees of Prairie St. John's are expected to adhere to safety policies, safe work practices, and other hospital policies. Employees are expected to complete mandatory training on time and attend mandatory meetings. In order to meet the essential functions of this position, employees must work as scheduled. All staff at Prairie St. John's may be required to work in different areas/units and varying shifts depending on the business needs to the facility. Performs other duties as assigned or as requested Qualifications Advanced degree in nursing
  • Licensed by the States of North Dakota as an APRN
  • Able to clearly summarize pertinent clinical information via written correspondence and medical record documentation.
  • Must be able to maintain required medical staff privileges and malpractice insurance.
  • Incumbents must have the ability to understand, monitor and effectively communicate applicable regulations, policies and procedures
  • The employee must display a professional attitude in all aspects of his/her performance
Qualifications:
Advanced degree in nursing
  • Licensed by the States of North Dakota as an APRN
