As a vital Emergency Medicine APP, you'll be at the heart of our community's urgent care needs, providing immediate, high-stakes care in a fast-paced environment where every decision counts. Your expertise will directly impact lives every single shift. CHI St. Alexius Health Williston is recruiting for an Emergency Medicine APP to join their team. Essential Areas of Responsibility
  • Provide care to patients of all ages
  • children to geriatrics
  • Emergency Room consults, triage and medical care
  • Round, admit and manage health needs of patients with a significant range of complex and co-morbid disease conditions
  • Manages all inpatient care and provides prompt attention to all patients admitted to the hospital, including diagnosis, treatment, and the performance of medical procedures (within your scope of practice)
  • Collaborate and coordinate patient care with physicians, nursing, health care personnel, and care team members for patients in the hospital and ER
  • Employing quality and process improvement practices to make the hospital a safer place and improve patient outcomes
  • Three 12 hour shifts per week
  • Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF) Eligible Employer We offer a robust compensation packages which includes:
  • A generous base salary $136,677

Responsibilities Patient Care:
Diagnose and treat medical conditions; develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans.
Communication:
Effectively communicate with patients, families, and healthcare teams; foster a collaborative approach.
Documentation:
Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with coding and billing regulations.
Team Collaboration:
Work with healthcare professionals and participate in interdisciplinary meetings.
Quality Improvement:
Engage in quality assurance initiatives and analyze clinical outcomes for improvement.
Compliance:
Adhere to ethical standards and stay informed about healthcare regulations.
Continuous Learning:
Stay updated on medical advancements and participate in ongoing education and training.
