Hiring Range:
$119,912.00 - $152,131.20 Please note that the final offer may vary within this range based on a candidate's experience, skills, qualifications, and internal equity considerations. UMass Memorial Health is seeking a motivated Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our expanding Gastroenterology team in a 100% outpatient ambulatory role with a focus on General GI.
Position Highlights:
Collaborative, Academic Environment - Work alongside an exceptional team of providers and staff. Professional Growth & Education - Participate in regular GI-focused conferences and CME opportunities designed to support clinical learning and professional advancement. Specialized Focus - Develop a clinical practice centered on General GI plus area of specific interest, not the full breadth of GI, giving you a manageable patient panel.
Schedule:
Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM 8 clinical sessions + 2 administrative sessions weekly No call, no weekends, no holidays, no nights Admin sessions are remote-capable and scheduled based on clinic needs
Patient Population:
Adult patients with general GI and IBD-related concerns
Patient Volume:
After ramp-up, ~16 patients booked/day (expected to see 12 or 13 per day)
Qualifications:
Required:
Master's or Doctoral degree from an accredited NP or PA program NP or PA certification Massachusetts NP or PA license Prior experience in Gastroenterology or ambulatory care setting Strong communication, organizational, and team collaboration skills 2 years of APP experience Top Tier Benefits to
