Job Description

You are applying for a position through Medix, a staffing agency. The actual posting represents a position at one of our clients. Job Summary Our client is seeking a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner to provide psychiatric medication services for all ages, with a focus on patient autonomy. This role involves managing medications, ensuring compliance with clinic protocols, and engaging in comprehensive patient care. Key Responsibilities Provide psychiatric medication services for all ages, ensuring proper education for client autonomy. Order labs and urine drug screens as needed/within policy guidelines.
Optional:
Manage Spravato/Ketamine clinic, adhering to REMs and medication guidelines. Administer medication during clinic hours, obtain vitals, and maintain patient observation. Handle ESA letters, FMLA letters, GLP-1, and medication-assisted treatment. Ensure all clinical documentation is signed within 24 hours of the appointment. Participate in team meetings, training, and other required activities. Perform any duties reasonably related to the role as assigned. Qualifications NH Licensed provider (MD or NP).
Active certifications:
BLS, ACLS.
Active NH DEA. Comfortable with providing full-scope psychiatric patient care and prescribing. Must be comfortable with pediatric and adult patient care.
