The Department of Psychiatry at Dartmouth-Hitchcock and the Geisel School of Medicine at Dartmouth is seeking a Psychiatrist, Addiction Medicine provider, or Advanced Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner to join its outpatient Addiction Treatment Program (ATP) at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center in Lebanon, NH. In this grant-funded role, you will be providing evaluations and clinical care for participants in a research trial comparing outcomes between different Medications for Opioid Use Disorder (MOUD). You will work within our Addiction Treatment Program alongside a dedicated multidisciplinary team. Our Addiction Treatment Program provides comprehensive evaluation service and Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) for adults and state-of-the-art evaluation and treatment, and referral services for people seeking help for substance abuse, and related disorders. We serve as an evidence-based resource for knowledge about optimal treatment and prevention approaches. We work closely with community resources to ensure the continued health and growth of our patients, our community, and our field. The Department of Psychiatry provides opportunities for and encourages collaboration, mentorship, research, teaching, and academic advancement. Our department is home to or affiliated with a wide array of federally-funded or foundation-supported research centers, including the Center for Technology and Behavioral Health; the Dartmouth Institute for epidemiological research; and the Dartmouth Trauma Research Center.
