Locum NP (Nurse Practitioner), PA (Physician's Assistant) Hematology Oncology Lebanon, NH Contract Contract Description This contract position offers an excellent opportunity to provide critical care and support in a fast-paced medical practice environment. As a Locum NP/PA in Hematology Oncology, you will play a vital role in diagnosing and managing patients with hematologic conditions and cancers. Your expertise will contribute to comprehensive patient care and treatment plans, ensuring the highest standards of medical practice are upheld. This position is ideal for professionals looking to make a significant impact in the lives of patients while collaborating with a skilled team of healthcare providers. Responsibilities Perform comprehensive assessments and evaluations of patients Develop and implement patient care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team Administer treatments and therapies as prescribed Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary Provide education and support to patients and their families Document patient interactions and maintain accurate medical records Participate in clinical meetings and case discussions Stay updated on advancements in Hematology Oncology practices and protocols Requirements Associate's degree in Nursing or related field; NP/PA certification preferred Experience in Hematology Oncology or related specialty is a plus Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team Commitment to providing high-quality patient care Knowledge of electronic health record (EHR) systems Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
Schedule:
3-4 days per week, 7a-7p or 7p-7aSetting:
Inpatient Daily Volume:
5-6 patients Hematology and BiTE therapy patients with solid tumorsEMR:
