Shifts:
08:00-04:30; 08:00-16:30 Responsibilities Conduct psychiatric evaluations and develop treatment plans for patients in an acute care setting. Manage pharmacologic treatment, monitor safety, and adjust medications as appropriate within scope of practice. Collaborate with psychiatrists, nurses, social workers, and care teams to coordinate patient care and discharge planning. Document assessments, plans, and progress in the electronic medical record; ensure compliance with regulatory and facility policies. Provide crisis intervention and risk assessment as needed, with clear communication to the care team and patient/family education. Requirements Active license as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse in New Hampshire. Board certification in psychiatry or credentialing appropriate for PMHNP practice, or eligibility. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary acute psychiatric environment. Strong collaboration and communication skills; proficient in medical documentation and patient safety. Eligible to work in the United States and able to meet facility credentialing requirements.
