Neonatology APP (NP/PA)

A health services network in New Jersey is seeking a licensed Nurse Practitioner (NP) and/or Physician Assistant (PA) to join their Neonatology team.  About the

Shift:

Day or Night Schedule:

2-3 shifts per week

Hours:

12 to 24-hour shifts

Setting:

Neonatal care

Responsibilities:

Providing direct patient care to neonatal patients (average census: 10-15 patients) Conducting daily rounds and collaborating with multidisciplinary care teams Supporting attending physicians and fellow providers Communicating effectively with patients' families regarding care plans and progress Performing procedures such as arterial puncture, endotracheal intubation, and umbilical line placement Performing other duties, as needed

Qualifications:

3+ years of experience in Neonatology Advanced Practice Provider degree (NP or PA) Active NJS Nurse Practitioner (NP) and/or Physician Assistant (PA) license Proficiency in Arterial Puncture, Endotracheal Intubation, and Umbilical Line Placement Competency in

EPIC EMR

system Strong patient care skills Excellent communication skills Ability to work as part of a team Adaptability in a fast-paced environment

Desired Qualifications:

Advanced Degree in Neonatology Relevant certifications in Neonatology
