Job Description

A New Jersey-based healthcare organization is seeking a licensed Nurse Practitioner for an Occupational Health assignment in New Brunswick. This role provides outpatient employee health services, including injury evaluation, fitness-for-duty exams, and occupational medicine support in a collaborative clinical setting.  About the

Day shift
Schedule:
Flexible schedule, approximately 2-3 days per week
Hours:
7:30am to 5pm
Setting:
Outpatient Occupational Health clinic
Responsibilities:
Perform pre-placement and employment physical examinations Conduct return-to-work evaluations and fit-for-duty examinations Evaluate and manage workplace injuries and workers' compensation cases Order, interpret, and review diagnostic testing and other clinical studies Maintain accurate clinical documentation and ensure compliance with occupational health regulations
Qualifications:
Master's or Doctoral Degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program Current NJS Nurse Practitioner (NP) licensure Current DEA registration Current CDS license DOT certification Significant experience in Corporate Health and/or Occupational Medicine Experience managing Workers' Compensation cases
Desired Skills:
Current BLS certification Experience working independently in an Outpatient Occupational Health setting Knowledge of Occupational Medicine regulations and Workplace Safety standards
