Advanced Practice Provider (NP or PA) - NJ Palliative Care In-Person Role | Hospital Setting | NJ License Required NJ Palliative Care is seeking a compassionate and skilled Advanced Practice Provider (Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant) to join our growing team. NJ Palliative Care proudly partners with leading healthcare organizations, including RWJ Barnabas Health and Complete Care , bringing excellence and innovation to every patient we serve.
Responsibilities:
Deliver comprehensive palliative care in a hospital environment Conduct patient assessments, develop care plans, and manage ongoing treatment Provide education and support to patients and families regarding goals of care Collaborate with physicians, facility staff, and community partners to ensure continuity of care Document clinical encounters in compliance with regulatory and organizational standards
Qualifications:
Active and unrestricted New Jersey Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) license (required) Active RN required (APN only) Valid DEA required Valid CDS required Current BLS and ACLS required Experience in palliative care, geriatrics, internal medicine, or a related field preferred Strong communication, interpersonal, and critical thinking skills Commitment to patient-centered, compassionate care
Compensation & Growth Opportunities:
Competitive pay with bonus potential Candidates with 10-15+ years of dedicated palliative care experience may qualify for compensation at the higher end of the pay range Team Lead roles are available for highly experienced APPs, offering enhanced responsibilities and compensation
