In this vital role, you will provide comprehensive women's health services, including preventive care, family planning, and management of gynecological conditions. Your expertise will empower patients through education, support, and personalized care, ensuring they receive the highest quality health services in a compassionate environment. This position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact on women's health across diverse populations. Duties Conduct thorough patient assessments, including medical history reviews, physical examinations, and vital signs monitoring. Provide preventive screenings such as Pap smears, breast exams, and contraceptive counseling to promote wellness and early detection. Manage acute and chronic gynecological conditions utilizing evidence-based practices and current clinical guidelines. Administer treatments including hormone therapy, immunizations, and minor procedures like suturing or biopsies as needed. Educate patients on reproductive health, family planning options, lifestyle modifications, and disease prevention strategies. Collaborate with physicians and specialists to coordinate care plans for complex cases involving obstetrics or gynecology. Utilize electronic health record (EHR) systems to document patient encounters accurately and efficiently while maintaining HIPAA compliance. Requirements Valid Nurse Practitioner license with certification in Women's Health or Gynecology. Proven experience in women's health clinics or primary care settings with a focus on reproductive health. Proficiency in EMR/EHR systems such as Epic or Athenahealth for documentation and patient management. Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and clinical evaluation techniques related to women's health issues. Ability to perform minor procedures including suturing, Pap smears, and specimen collection with aseptic technique. Experience with telehealth platforms to provide remote consultations when necessary. Familiarity with CPT coding for billing purposes related to gynecological services and procedures. Ideal candidates will also possess experience working with diverse populations—including pediatric and geriatric patients—along with skills in patient education, case management, and interdisciplinary collaboration. A background in acute care settings such as hospitals or emergency rooms is highly valued, along with familiarity in areas like family planning, menopause management, and behavioral health support related to women's health issues.
