Job Description

A well established urology practice in Neptune, New Jersey is looking for a physician assistant or nurse practitioner. The group specializes in comprehensive urologic care and fosters a collaborative, team-oriented work environment. The provider will work closely with urologists and the care team to provide exceptional, patient-focused care. This role is primarily outpatient with some inpatient rounding responsibilities and minimal call requirements, offering an excellent work-life balance.
Key Responsibilities:
Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients with urological conditions in collaboration with supervising physicians. Perform patient assessments, order and interpret diagnostic tests, and develop treatment plans. Assist in urologic procedures and provide pre- and post-operative care. Conduct inpatient rounding and coordinate care for hospitalized patients as needed. Educate patients and families on treatment plans and preventive care. Maintain accurate and timely documentation in electronic medical records (EMR).
Qualifications:
Current certification as a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner. Licensure (or eligibility for licensure) in the state of New Jersey. Experience in urology preferred but not required; the practice is open to training motivated candidates. Strong clinical and interpersonal skills with a patient-centered approach.
