Working closely with Harvey J. White MD, Founder and Medical Director, the associate will provide evaluative and therapeutic care focused on primary health conditions. This individual will play an important role in the growth and development of our inaugural program and provide a vital resource for an intact adult patient base as well as the community at large. Given Vessel's mission of personalized health promotion, support of the Company's therapeutic lifestyle program is encouraged including an enthusiasm for exercise, nutrition, and emotional health coaching. The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to providing high-quality patient care and will play a vital role in diagnosing and treating patients across various settings. This position requires a blend of clinical expertise, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals. Duties Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including medical history and physical examinations. Develop and implement individualized care plans based on patient needs and diagnoses. Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, performing procedures, and managing treatment plans. Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare providers to ensure coordinated patient care. Educate patients and their families about health management, disease prevention, and treatment options. Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in compliance with legal and ethical standards. Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary. Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes. Skills The successful Nurse Practitioner will demonstrate proficiency in the following skills: Experience in a medical office setting with a focus on patient care . Knowledge of Durable Medical Equipment (DME) protocols. Familiarity with ICD-9 coding for accurate diagnosis documentation. Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities is preferred. Skilled in venipuncture for blood draws and IV placements.
