Job Description

Make a Meaningful Impact in Behavioral Health A growing behavioral health organization in Albuquerque is seeking a compassionate and experienced Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) to join its multidisciplinary team. This is an exciting opportunity to work in an integrated care environment dedicated to improving outcomes for individuals and families through evidence-based, patient-centered treatment. The ideal candidate is passionate about serving diverse populations, values collaboration, and is committed to delivering high-quality psychiatric care in a supportive and mission-driven setting. Responsibilities Conduct psychiatric evaluations and assessments Diagnose and treat mental health conditions across the lifespan Develop and manage individualized treatment plans Prescribe and monitor psychiatric medications Provide ongoing medication management and follow-up care Collaborate with therapists, case managers, nurses, and other healthcare professionals Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation Participate in treatment team meetings and care coordination activities Support a culture of clinical excellence, compassion, and patient advocacy Qualifications Current PMHNP certification Active New Mexico Nurse Practitioner license or ability to obtain DEA license or ability to obtain Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities Commitment to culturally responsive, patient-centered care Preferred Qualifications Experience working in community behavioral health or outpatient psychiatry Experience treating children, adolescents, and adults Bilingual English/Spanish abilities are a plus Familiarity with integrated behavioral health models What We Offer Competitive compensation package Paid time off and paid holidays Flexible scheduling options Professional development and continuing education support Collaborative multidisciplinary team environment Opportunity for leadership growth and program development Meaningful work serving individuals and families throughout New Mexico If you're looking for an opportunity to practice in a supportive environment where you can make a lasting impact on the lives of others, we'd love to hear from you

$110,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
