Job Description
Sun River Health provides the highest quality of comprehensive primary, preventative and behavioral health services to all who see it, regardless of insurance status and ability to pay, especially for the underserved and vulnerable. Sun River Health is a Federally Qualified, Non-Profit Health Center serving communities in Suffolk, Rockland, Orange, Dutchess, Ulster, Sullivan, Columbia and Westchester County. We are currently seeking a full-time Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner to join our team and support multiple sites on Long Island. Position Summary A Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner provides psychiatric clinical services for patients. Performs job duties in compliance with systems and job specific standards.
Job Type:
Full-Time Work Schedule:
Monday in Wyandanch, Tuesday in Patchogue, Wednesday and Thursday in Brentwood, and Friday in Coram. (This schedule can change.)Salary Range:
$159,724.50- $172,614 per year
Sign-On Bonus:
$3,500 Sign-On Bonus for Eligible External Applicants- Terms and Conditions Apply.
Essential Job Qualifications Minimum Education Requirement:
Master's Degree Minimum Licensure:
Nurse Practitioner inPsychiatry and CPR/BLS Required Skills & Knowledge:
- Knowledge of diagnostic and treatment procedures that nurse practitioners are trained to do and are necessary for practicing in health care centers.
- Competence in delivery of health care to patients (including preventative health education)
- Ability to collaborate with other members of the Health Center in order to maintain high quality standards and achieve client satisfaction.
