Job Description

Great opportunity available for an experienced Physician Assistant / Family Nurse Practitioner to join an Emergency Medicine department located in the beautiful Finger Lakes Region of Upstate NY. This is a permanent and full-time employed position. If you are seeking a busy and collegial practice offering the support and collegiality of outstanding Emergency Medicine physicians, with full involvement in the provision of quality care, then you must explore this opportunity! Committed to providing all our providers with state-of-the-art practice settings along with full support staff. We are a clinical campus for medical students from Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine (Elmira campus) and offer numerous Residency and Fellowship training programs on-site. Candidates must be a graduate of an approved masters level program with national certification and current NYS professional license. Income Details /

Responsibilities:
Provide high-quality care to patients in the Observation Unit. Assist in the rural Emergency Department alongside ED physicians. Conduct assessments, diagnostic testing, and treatment plans. Manage and monitor patients' care throughout their stay in the hospital. Collaborate with a close-knit team to deliver excellent patient outcomes. Ensure proper documentation and patient communication.
Qualifications:
Current NY state license as a Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA). New graduates are welcome to apply. Previous experience in Emergency Medicine or Acute Care preferred but not required. Strong clinical and communication skills. Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
