Job Description

Busy Internal Medicine clinic in Flushing, Queens is seeking a professional and responsible Nurse Practitioner to join our outpatient clinical team. The NP will provide adult primary care and internal medicine services, including patient evaluations, follow-up visits, chronic disease management, medication management, lab review, referrals, preventive care, and accurate EMR documentation. Responsibilities: Evaluate and manage adult internal medicine patients Treat and follow common chronic conditions such as hypertension, diabetes, hyperlipidemia, asthma/COPD, thyroid disease, and other primary care concerns Review labs, imaging, medications, and specialist reports Order appropriate tests, referrals, and prescriptions within scope of practice Educate patients on treatment plans and follow-up care Complete accurate and timely EMR documentation Work closely with physicians, medical assistants, front desk, and administrative staff Requirements: Active New York State NP license Board certification as FNP, ANP, AGNP, or related specialty DEA registration preferred or eligibility to obtain Internal Medicine, Primary Care, or outpatient clinic experience preferred Strong communication and documentation skills Bilingual English/Chinese preferred Must be professional, reliable, punctual, and team-oriented Benefits: Competitive compensation Malpractice coverage Supportive office team Stable outpatient schedule Long-term opportunity available We are an equal opportunity employer.
