Job Summary Experienced Pediatric Nurse Practitioner / Physician Assistant in Flushing, New York (Immediate Need for an experienced PA or PNP)

Permanent, Part-Time Opportunity (12-25 hours/week) Competitive Salary Equivalent to $60-$90/Hour Private practice with Front Desk Support. We are seeking a dedicated and bilingual Pediatric Physician Assistant / Nurse Practitioner (Korean-English) to join our dynamic healthcare team. In this role, you will provide comprehensive pediatric care, including assessments, diagnoses, and treatment plans for children of all ages. Your expertise will support families through preventive care, acute illness management, and chronic condition oversight, ensuring the highest standards of patient-centered care. This position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact on young patients' health while working within a collaborative and innovative clinical environment. Duties Conduct thorough physical examinations and patient assessments for pediatric patients, utilizing your strong knowledge of anatomy and physiology. Manage acute and chronic pediatric conditions, including acute pain management and infectious disease care, with proficiency in triage and emergency response protocols. Administer injections, perform suturing, and utilize aseptic techniques to ensure safe procedures aligned with best practices. Utilize Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems such as Epic or eClinicalWorks for accurate documentation of medical records, vital signs, intake data, and diagnostic evaluations. Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to develop discharge plans, participate in clinical research or clinical trials, and collect data for quality improvement initiatives. Support telehealth consultations and outpatient visits, providing health coaching and patient education tailored to pediatric needs. Adhere with HIPAA regulations. Qualifications Valid certification as a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner with pediatric specialization; bilingual fluency in Korean and English is essential. Proven experience in pediatrics or related fields such as emergency medicine, urgent care, or hospital medicine; Level I or Level II trauma center experience is highly desirable. Strong familiarity with EMR systems like Epic, Cerner, or eClinicalWorks; experience with CPT coding, ICD-9/10 coding is preferred. Demonstrated skills in physical examinations, diagnostic evaluation, medication administration, and patient assessment. Knowledge of infection control practices, aseptic techniques, and advanced procedures is advantageous. Ability to handle high-pressure situations with excellent triage skills; experience in hospital settings including inpatient units or outpatient clinics preferred. Advanced Practice Registered Nurse Degree (Preference in Primary Care Pediatrics) Board-Certified Basic Life Support (BLS) certification Unrestricted New York Medical License Bilingual (English required and additional knowledge in Korean, Spanish, Chinese preferred)

Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification
