  • Part-time, Full-time Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and compassionate Office-Based Nurse Practitioner to join our healthcare team.
In this vital role, you will provide comprehensive patient care within a clinical setting, utilizing your advanced nursing skills to assess, diagnose, and treat a diverse range of conditions. Your expertise will support our mission to deliver exceptional healthcare services, improve patient outcomes, and promote wellness across various populations. This position offers an engaging environment where your clinical knowledge and proactive approach will make a meaningful difference in patients' lives. We have recently secured new membership expansion, creating an immediate and urgent need to grow our team. Duties Conduct thorough physical examinations and patient assessments, including vital signs, medical history review, and symptom evaluation in person or via telemedicine. Manage acute and chronic conditions through evidence-based treatment plans, including medication administration and follow-up care. Perform specialized procedures such as suturing, IV insertion, catheterization, and sterile processing when necessary. Utilize electronic health record (EHR) systems like Epic, eClinicalWorks, or Cerner to document patient encounters accurately and efficiently. Collaborate with physicians, specialists, and multidisciplinary teams to coordinate care for patients in outpatient or inpatient settings. Provide health coaching and education tailored to individual needs, including geriatrics, pediatric care, or memory care. Engage in telehealth consultations to extend access to quality healthcare services remotely. Assist with clinical research activities and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations for patient privacy and confidentiality. Qualifications Current Nurse Practitioner license with valid certification to practice independently in the state of employment. Proven experience in medical office settings with familiarity in EMR/EHR systems Strong clinical skills Experience working with diverse populations such as seniors in assisted living or nursing homes; Knowledge of medical terminology, CPT coding, ICD-10/ICD-9 coding systems for billing and documentation purposes. Critical care experience preferred, including ICU or emergency room background; Level I or Level II trauma center experience is advantageous. Demonstrated ability to perform diagnostic evaluations using laboratory testing, sonography, or medical imaging techniques. Familiarity with occupational health protocols, hospice & palliative medicine practices, infectious disease care, and post-acute care procedures. Excellent communication skills with the ability to educate patients effectively on treatment plans and health management strategies. Ability to work independently while collaborating seamlessly within a multidisciplinary healthcare team committed to excellence.
