Nurse Practitioner (NP) EMG / NCS (Electrodiagnostic Testing)

Position Overview We are seeking a skilled and motivated Nurse Practitioner (NP) with experience in electrodiagnostic testing (EMG/NCS) to join our growing mobile outpatient practice. This is a high-volume, procedure-focused role involving the performance and interpretation of EMG/NCS studies, as well as the evaluation of patients with neuromuscular complaints, including a high volume of motor vehicle accident (MVA) cases. This position requires travel between clinic locations. The ideal candidate is reliable, highly efficient, and clinically confident , with the ability to perform, interpret, and document findings in real time during patient encounters . Key Responsibilities Perform EMG/NCS studies. Evaluate patients with neuromuscular and nerve-related complaints Correlate electrodiagnostic findings with clinical presentation Order and interpret diagnostic imaging (MRI, X-ray, etc.) Prescribe medications as clinically appropriate Develop and adjust individualized treatment plans Educate patients on findings and next steps Maintain accurate, real-time EMR documentation during patient visits Travel between assigned clinic locations as needed Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary providers QualificationsRequired Active Nurse Practitioner license (NY or NJ, or eligible) Board Certified NP (FNP, AGNP, or Adult NP) Experience performing EMG/NCS studies Strong clinical assessment and decision-making skills Ability to work efficiently in a high-volume setting Proficiency in EMR documentation with the ability to complete notes in real time Reliable transportation and willingness to travel between locationsPreferred Prior EMG/NCS training through clinical practice or supervising physician Experience in neurology, PM&R, or pain management Familiarity with no-fault / MVA patient workflows Spanish-speaking preferred (majority of patient population is Spanish-speaking), but not required What We Offer $90-$135/hour (W2) based on experience and performance Opportunity to increase hours based on patient volume High-volume clinical environment with consistent EMG demand Outpatient-only setting (no call, no hospital work) Supportive and collaborative clinical environment Established and growing patient base Schedule Part-Time and Full time options Available Daytime outpatient hours Travel required between clinic locations Ideal Candidate You are a confident and efficient clinician experienced in electrodiagnostic testing , who is comfortable performing EMG/NCS studies.
