Job Description

A healthcare services company in New York City is currently seeking a new, licensed Nurse Practitioner (NP) and/or Physician Assistant (PA) to join their team in Manhattan. 
Responsibilities:
Review and make recommendations on consumer assessments for long-term care services and supports. Maintain current knowledge of regulatory changes pertaining to the quality and validity of assessments. Assess cases presented and utilize clinical competencies to review and validate assessment outcomes Work collaboratively to monitor and address clinical quality and gaps in care Provide clinical and educational assistance to support project initiatives Demonstrate communication skills necessary to interpret age-specific responses Participate in performance, improvement, and quality assurance activities and related meetings Provide clinical and educational support to meet program goals Perform other duties as may be assigned by
Management Qualifications:
Master's Degree from a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant Program NYS Nurse Practitioner (NP) and/or Physician Assistant (PA) license Board Eligible Computer savvy
Desired Qualifications:
Board Certified in Internal Medicine, Adult Health, Community Health, and/or Family Practice Bilingual (English and Cantonese, Mandarin, Bengali, Haitian-Creole, Russian, or Spanish) Experience working with the Adult / Geriatric populations Home Care background Experience working with individuals with Physical and/or Developmental Disabilities Knowledge of Long-Term Care services & programs
