Locums Pain Mgmt NP/PA

Hospital-owned pain management clinic needs an APP experienced in chronic pain management. Practice is anchored by a board certified anesthesiologist with a pain management fellowship.

Job Function:

PA or NP will manage pain patients, including prescribing controlled medications as appropriate. Conduct initial evaluations for new patients and coordinate imaging (e.g., MRI) as needed. Collaborate with the MD, who will establish the treatment plan during the second visit. Manage all follow-up visits, including medication management and ongoing assessment of the treatment plan. Work alongside a team of Medical Assistants who handle patient intake and drug screenings. Ensure all patients complete required drug testing; strict adherence to compliance protocols is enforced.

Job Requirements:

NP or PA with Chronic Pain Mgmt Experience and prescribing narcotics Ortho / PM&R or Neuro experience may be applicable NY licensed
