opportunity (NOT contract).Responsibilities of the

Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner:

Conduct comprehensive psychiatric and physical evaluations for substance use disorders (SUDs) and co-occurring mental health conditions.

Participate in the multidisciplinary treatment teams and work collaboratively with other disciplines in planning for the treatment of their patientsMedication management to include, but not limited to, Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT)Assess the clinical appropriateness of admissions and collaborate with the referral and intake department.

Work with attending psychiatrists in caring for patients and perform psychiatric assessments, and provide ongoing care in both inpatient and outpatient settingsProvide individual therapy and/or medication management as needed for patients under their careCreate individualized plans using evidence-based practices, including therapy and medication management.

Complete all documentation requirements legibly and within appropriate timeframesMaintains patient confidentiality and complies with all HIPAA standards. Qualifications of the

Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner:

Unencumbered Nurse Practitioner license in the state of New YorkMust be licensed as a

PMHNPDEA

requiredExperience working with patients ranging in age from 13 and up preferredExperience working with co-occurring disorders (mental health and addiction)Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the

American Heart Association or American Red Cross Compensation and Schedule:

Annual salary starts around $180K but can be considerably more based on years of experienceMonday - Friday, with the ability to be flexible with scheduleRelocation assistance offered up to a certain amount with proof of receipts
