Job Description

A health services network in New York is seeking a licensed Nurse Practitioner (NP) and/or Physician Assistant in Westchester County. This role supports pre-operative evaluations, documentation, and communication with the anesthesia team to help ensure safe and efficient surgical preparation. About the

Monday-Friday Hours:
8-hour days; 40 hours per week
Setting:
Acute care hospital
Responsibilities:
Complete thorough pre-operative histories and physicals and order testing as indicated Conduct detailed pre-operative evaluations and document essential patient information Document patient diagnoses, planned procedures, and relevant surgical and anesthetic history Review medical history, allergies, and diagnostic studies, and perform focused physical examinations Order additional studies as needed and communicate clearly with the anesthesia team
Qualifications:
Licensed Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant Strong clinical judgment and excellent communication skills
