Advanced Practice Provider Educator White Plains, NY Full-Time Direct Hire Onsite (Mon Fri, 9am 5pm)
Salary:
$127,569 $189,774 DOE Comprehensive Benefits + Retirement Plan A healthcare organization in White Plains, NY is seeking an experienced NP or PA to serve as an Advanced Practice Provider Educator. This role focuses on onboarding, competency management, and ongoing clinical education for APPs across the organization. Position Overview The APP Educator will support new and existing PAs/NPs through structured onboarding, competency validation, and continuing education initiatives. This role collaborates closely with medical staff leadership, nursing, administration, and the Medical Staff Office. Essential Responsibilities Educate new and existing PAs/NPs on clinical diagnoses, procedures, and department-specific needs Develop, measure, manage, and sign off on clinical competencies Collaborate with the Medical Staff Office regarding Delineation of Privileges (DOP) Partner with Lead APPs to manage onboarding checklists Implement continuing education programs (lecture series, simulation lab, online resources) Serve as an ongoing clinical resource to APP staff Develop evidence-based standards of care, policies, and procedures Participate in committees, task forces, and organizational initiatives Provide education on billing, coding, and compliance Collaborate effectively across medical staff, nursing, care management, and administration Education & Experience Requirements Minimum 5 years of clinical experience required NP/PA education experience preferred Simulation experience preferred Certified in BLS and ACLS Proficiency in procedures per delineation of privileges
Licensure Requirements Physician Assistant:
Current New York State PA license
Current National Certification Nurse Practitioner:
