Full Job Description Position Overview:

As an Inpatient Nurse Practitioner at an Acute Care Specialty Hospital, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care. Our hospital is a 150-bed acute care facility located in beautiful Westchester County, New York. It does not have an Emergency Room (ER), Operating Room (OR), or Intensive Care Unit (ICU). This is a unique opportunity to work in a collaborative and supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities and Schedule:

Schedule:

Multiple Shifts Available (Day or Nights). Inquire within with preference. Nurse Practitioner's role includes following a service, assisting with admissions/consultations, attending to urgent matters, and providing an on-site presence. Average case load typically 15-20 patients per day.

Qualifications:

Current Nurse Practitioner license in the state of New York. Master's degree in Nursing with a specialization in Adult-Gerontology, Family, or Acute Care. Board Certification as a Nurse Practitioner. ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification is required upon credentialing. Previous experience as a Nurse Practitioner in an Inpatient clinical setting (Hospital or Skilled Nursing Facility) is highly required. Strong clinical and assessment skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a healthcare team. Commitment to providing compassionate, patient-centered care. Knowledge of

EPIC EMR

system is a plus.

Salary and Benefits:

Competitive base salary of $144,000+; flexibility on salary based on superior qualifications and experience. Productivity Bonus - payable at the conclusion of every 6 month cycle (Estimated $10,000 + per year) PTO with ability to cash out unused PTO at the conclusion of each full year.
