Job Description
Nurse Practitioner, Occupational Health General Summary Under the direction of the Medical Director of Occupational Health Services, perform a wide variety of duties both within and in support of the Occupational Health Service. Minimum Qualifications Education, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Excellent organization and time management skills
- Ability to work with individuals at all educational and socioeconomic levels
- Proficient computer skills, including ability to learn new systems/software
- Working knowledge of OSHA and Occupational Health principles, preferred Required Length/Type of Experience
- A minimum of three years of experience, preferable in an outpatient setting. Required Education/Licensure/Certification
- Certification from national accrediting body to practice as a Nurse Practitioner
- Successful completion of continuing education as required by State of Ohio Required Physical and Environmental Demands
- Ability to lift 20 pounds
- Must be flexible and adaptable to various environments
- Able to sit or stand for extended periods of time
- Able to complete electronic charting
