Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Family Practice Nurse Practitioner with Women s Health experience to provide locum coverage in an outpatient clinic setting in Anadarko, OK. This is an excellent opportunity for providers seeking consistent weekday coverage with potential for long-term placement beginning March 2, 2026.

Schedule:
Monday Friday, 8:00 AM 5:00 PM No call, no weekends
Contract Length:
6 12 months (locum assignment with potential extension)
Start Date:
March 2, 2026 (credentialing required, 60 days)
Patient Volume:
Approximately patients per day
Patient Population:
Primarily women of child-bearing age, with some post-menopausal care
Team Support:
Oversight available, but provider will practice independently day-to-day with RN/MA/front desk support
Responsibilities:
Perform routine women s health exams (Pap smears, elective birth control, endometrial biopsies, colposcopies, IUD insertions) Diagnose and manage gynecologic conditions (including DUB workups and therapy with consult as needed) Provide limited prenatal and some post-menopausal care Educate patients and families on best practices Document and update patient records Collaborate with OB/GYNs and Family Physicians as needed
Requirements:
Active Nurse Practitioner license (any state accepted)
Board Certification:
Women s Health preferred; Family Practice with OB/GYN experience acceptable
Experience:
Minimum 3 5 years in Women s
Health Certifications:
DEA and applicable credentials Ability to work independently with limited supervision
Credentialing:
