Job Description
Native Wound Therapy dba Fast Track Medical is a TERO certified Native Owned Small Business specializing in care management for rural and underserved communities. We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Nurse Practitioner (APRN, FNP) to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will deliver comprehensive primary care and providing care to patients in our walk in clinic location. The ideal candidate will be proficient in managing acute and chronic conditions, providing patient education, and collaborating effectively with interdisciplinary healthcare teams.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive health assessments and develop individualized care plans tailored to patient needs. Provide wound care management including assessment, treatment planning, and follow-up. Order and interpret diagnostic tests, prescribe medications, and manage treatments within scope of practice. Educate patients and families on disease management, wound care, and prevention strategies. Collaborate with healthcare professionals and community resources to optimize patient outcomes. Document clinical care accurately and in a timely manner utilizing electronic medical records. Maintain compliance with clinical policies, safety protocols, and regulatory requirements. Travel to patient locations within designated mobile service area to provide care. Requirements Current, unrestricted Nurse Practitioner (APRN) license with Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) certification in the state of Oklahoma. Experience in wound care, primary care, or related fields preferred. Strong clinical judgment and ability to work independently in mobile and community settings. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage patients and healthcare teams. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for travel within service area. Proficiency with electronic medical records (EMR) systems and thorough documentation skills.
