Our practice focuses on adult primary care, women's health, hormone health, metabolic wellness, medical weight loss, preventive care, and integrative health. We are also partnered with Alpenaura Plastic Surgery, allowing for shared patient care and a collaborative approach to whole-person wellness, prevention, aesthetics, hormone health, metabolic health, and long-term vitality. We are growing and looking for a compassionate, clinically strong Nurse Practitioner who is excited to practice medicine in a more relational, comprehensive, and patient-centered way. Finding the right fit is extremely important to us. We are looking for someone who aligns with our values, communicates well, enjoys collaboration, and is genuinely motivated to grow with the practice. This is an ideal opportunity for a provider who values longer patient visits, whole-person care, strong therapeutic relationships, and an approach that considers lifestyle, nutrition, metabolic function, stress, sleep, prevention, and evidence-based medical treatment together. Position Overview We are seeking a Nurse Practitioner with a strong interest in adult primary care, along with an appreciation for integrative medicine, holistic medicine, preventive care, and women's health. This role will primarily focus on adult primary care, including but not limited to wellness visits, preventive care, chronic condition management, medication management, lab review, lifestyle counseling, and ongoing patient follow-up. The ideal candidate may also have complementary interests that align with Alpenaura's broader mission, such as metabolic health, thyroid health, cardiovascular prevention, gut health, mental health support, nutrition, longevity-focused medicine, or other services that fit within an integrative care model. We are open to supporting additional services or specialty interests that the clinician is passionate about, as long as they complement the practice and are clinically appropriate, evidence-informed, and aligned with our patient-centered approach. This is an independent contractor position . The selected provider will be required to operate through their own business entity, such as an LLC, and will be responsible for maintaining their own professional licensure, liability coverage, tax responsibilities, and any other requirements associated with independent contractor status. The right person for this role is a self-starter who is motivated to build their own patient panel within a supportive practice environment. This position offers autonomy, flexibility, and room for growth, while still being part of a collaborative, women-owned, values-aligned clinical team. Responsibilities The Nurse Practitioner will provide patient-centered care including: Adult primary care, primarily for adult patients Wellness visits and preventive care Chronic condition management Medication management Lab ordering, interpretation, and treatment planning Lifestyle counseling related to nutrition, movement, sleep, stress, and long-term health Preventive health screenings and risk assessment Metabolic health support and medical weight management when appropriate Women's health support within the scope of adult primary care Evaluation and management of common acute and chronic concerns Patient education and collaborative treatment planning Follow-up care and ongoing patient support Thorough and timely documentation in the EHR Collaboration with the clinic owner, care team, and Alpenaura Plastic Surgery when appropriate to support excellent patient outcomes Development of additional clinically appropriate services that align with the provider's interests and the practice's mission Ideal Candidate The right provider for this role is someone who: Has a strong foundation in adult primary care Enjoys preventive, relationship-based medicine Has a genuine interest in integrative, holistic, and root-cause care Values longer, more thoughtful patient visits over rushed care Is clinically thoughtful, detail-oriented, and open-minded Communicates clearly and warmly with patients Is comfortable educating patients and helping them feel empowered in their care Is professional, reliable, and able to work independently Is a self-starter who is motivated to build their own patient panel Is comfortable with the autonomy and responsibility of independent contractor work Enjoys being part of a growing practice Brings a collaborative, low-ego, team-oriented mindset Is open to developing services that complement the practice rather than directly duplicating existing offerings Is excited about practicing within a women-owned and operated clinical environment Understands that culture fit, communication, and shared values are essential Has a warm bedside manner and can make patients feel safe, heard, and respected Preferred Experience or Interests Experience or interest in any of the following is helpful: Adult primary care Family medicine or internal medicine Preventive medicine Integrative or functional medicine Chronic disease prevention and management Metabolic health and insulin resistance Medical weight loss Cardiovascular risk prevention Thyroid health Nutrition and lifestyle medicine Mental health support within primary care Gut health Longevity-focused medicine Women's health as it relates to adult primary care Sexual health and wellness Experience in hormone therapy, menopause care, or advanced women's health is welcome, but this role is intended to primarily support and expand adult primary care services within the practice. That said, a 4-day schedule is not required to start. We are open to a provider beginning at 2 days per week and gradually increasing their schedule as their patient panel grows.
