Job Description

Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) Trillium Family Services is seeking a compassionate and experienced Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) to provide psychiatric assessment, treatment, and clinical leadership for youth in our care. This role works collaboratively with multidisciplinary treatment teams to support children and adolescents experiencing mental health challenges. Position Details Half-time, 20 hours/week Combination of day treatment and outpatient clients in Corvallis/Salem area Opportunities may open for increased hours per week or salaried work in the future In-person office hours required with some telehealth opportunities Flexible schedule,
Monday-Friday Compensation:
$65-$75/hour DOE Primary Responsibilities Conduct psychiatric evaluations and establish DSM-5 diagnoses for youth entering assigned programs Collaborate with the Access Department to determine appropriateness of referrals Participate in treatment planning and provide clinical leadership for assigned cases Review, update, and approve Master Treatment Plans and discharge recommendations Provide timely and accurate documentation for all psychiatric appointments Monitor overall client care and participate in Clinical Review Board discussions Prescribe and monitor psychotropic medications as clinically indicated Ensure clinical documentation meets agency, regulatory, and accreditation standards Coordinate consultation with medical specialists and allied health professionals as needed Qualifications Completion of a PMHNP training program Licensed by the Oregon Board DEA certification to prescribe Schedule II medications, including stimulants and benzodiazepines Significant experience working with child and adolescent psychiatric patients Strong knowledge of child psychiatric assessment and treatment practices Familiarity with ethical and professional standards, governmental guidelines, and community standards of psychiatric care Basic computer and typing skills, including electronic medical record documentation Learn more about our programs and mission at Trillium Family Services For physical demands of position, including vision, hearing, repetitive motion, and environment, please contact the HR department.
