Job Description

We are a growing network of urgent care clinics. Our rapid growth is a result of our unmatched customer service and genuine compassion towards every single customer. Our clinics offer non-critical, but urgent medical care to patients as an alternative to the emergency room or their primary physician. We are open seven days a week and serve all ages. We are a high performing organization who places a premium on our culture. Our Nurse Practitioners and Physician Associate provide care for patients within standards of practice and regulations of government agencies. They are responsible for providing outstanding service while maintaining a compassionate and welcoming atmosphere. The ideal candidate is energetic, flexible, has a positive attitude and above all else, has a passion for patient care.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
Provide patient care on an outpatient basis to include procedures normally performed in an urgent care setting Responsible for the delivery of care, treatment, and referrals. Arrange for referral resources for those medical specialties not provided by the organization for patients of the clinic Evaluate patients to determine the medical condition of the patient, through the performance of physical examinations, thereby, establishing a diagnosis and proposed treatment plan Perform such clinical procedures for patient's benefit which are within scope and skill of practitioner Communicate information to patients regarding diagnosis and treatment goals Maintains accurate, complete, concise and timely documentation with a focus on proper level coding and clinical documentation integrity (CDI) in the electronic medical record Ability to perform occupational and telemedicine patient care Perform non-patient facing duties such as lab and x-ray review Perform other job-related duties as may be assigned by the
Medical Director Requirements and Qualifications:
Current, unrestricted PA or NP license in the state or the ability to obtain Ability to obtain DEA licensure Knowledge of treatment and drug interactions Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
